Please join us in congratulating Dr. Dolores Lamb for being chosen as a recipient of the Outstanding Mentor Award from the Endocrine Society, as part of the Society's 2019 Laureate Awards. In March of 2019, Dr. Lamb will be presented with this award in recognition of her career commitment to mentoring Ph.D. students, post-docs and fellows. Many of Dr. Lamb's mentees have made great accomplishments in the fields of urology and endocrinology, including department chair positions at acclaimed institutions around the world.
Dr. Lamb joined Weill Cornell Medicine in the spring of 2018 as Vice Chair for Research in the Department of Urology and Director of the Center for Reproductive Genomics. She will hold the Dow Professorship of Urology. She maintains an active presence in both the academic and research communities at Weill Cornell Medicine. Her research focuses on urology, male infertility, steroid hormone action, prostate cancer and genitourinary birth defects.
