At Weill Cornell Medicine, Department of Urology, our top priority remains the care of our patients. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we are emphasizing the use of Video Visits to provide a safe, effective, secure, and convenient way to provide care. Video Visits allows us to continue to fulfill our mission to provide best-in-class care for all of our patients.
New and existing patients will have direct access to Dr. Mandel through a smartphone (preferred) or computer. Our patients will receive instructions to a unique, secure, and private link to access the Video Visit session once the appointment is scheduled.
Nearly all of our visits are being performed via Video Visit at this time. During the Video Visit with Dr. Mandel, he will determine if an in-person office visit is needed.

Edmund Mandel, M.D., F.A.C.S is Assistant Professor of Clinical Urology at Weill Cornell Medicine and sees patients weekly for evaluation and treatment of urologic disorders in Brooklyn and Queens.
Dr. Mandel has provided personalized, compassionate and state-of-the-art urologic care for the communities of South Brooklyn and Queens for over thirty years. He has earned the trust of his patients and referring physicians and has a reputation for being a tireless advocate for his patients' needs. His faculty and clinical appointments at Weill Cornell Medicine and NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital will further enhance his patients' care. Dr. Mandel is able to provide integrated care within all of the urologic subspecialties and medical disciplines whenever the need arises. He has operating privileges at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.
Dr. Mandel graduated from City College of New York and earned his MD from Temple University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in urology at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. He has been a Diplomate of The American Board of Urology since 1988.
