At Weill Cornell Medicine, Department of Urology, our top priority remains the care of our patients. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we are emphasizing the use of Video Visits to provide a safe, effective, secure, and convenient way to provide care. Video Visits allows us to continue to fulfill our mission to provide best-in-class care for all of our patients.
New and existing patients will have direct access to Dr. David through a smartphone (preferred) or computer. Our patients will receive instructions to a unique, secure, and private link to access the Video Visit session once the appointment is scheduled.
Nearly all of our visits are being performed via Video Visit at this time. During the Video Visit with Dr. David, he will determine if an in-person office visit is needed.

Dr. Scott David joined the Department of Urology faculty full-time as of August 1, 2010 and serves as an Assistant Attending physician at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. He has a full-time practice on campus and is able to see all of his patients at this location, allowing him to easily transition from the operating room to office consultation.
Dr. David completed general surgery and urology residency rotations at Weill Cornell Medicine and also served as a clinical instructor at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/ Weill Cornell Medical College prior to joining our faculty full time. He completed college phi beta kappa/summa cum laude at Vanderbilt University and medical school at Weill Medical College of Cornell University .
Dr. David is a diplomate (board-certified) of the American Board of Urology. He currently serves on the Admissions Committee at Weill Cornell Medical College, lectures at the medical college on genitourinary embryology and male reproductive physiology, and serves as a board member of the Griffis Faculty Club. He has been a member of the American Urological Association since 2001 and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
His research interests include renal and ureteral embryology and physiology, while his clinical specialties involve voiding dysfunction, kidney stones, men’s health, prostate disease, laparoscopic/endoscopic/open surgery and vasectomies. He has an emphasis on office-based procedures and surgery.
Dr. David is a third generation New Yorker and enjoys being active in the local community.
His dedicated service to the college and hospital continues as he sees patients in the Brady Urologic Health Clinic, located in Starr 9 of Weill Cornell Medicine/New York-Presbyterian Hospital.
